Perrie Walder and Garry Cox

It's great to be in control, the first time around with White Russia we were recorded, produced, signed to a record company and live agent, all within the first year. We formed in 1989 and had split by 1992.

The songs were great or started off great, before everyone else got their hands on them.

Sometimes it baffles me with producers, don't get me wrong their are some bloody good ones out their, amazing ones, we were just unlucky to have the ones that just didn't get us.

Fast Forward to 2005

After not seeing each other for ten years, a chance meeting, and it was decided that we would re-record a couple of the old tracks, unfortunately by the time we got it together, Perrie had been in a serious motorbike accident, breaking his back, smashing up his right leg and losing the use of his right arm, but Perrie being Perrie just battled on even though he was in constant pain, all the time.

We had to do it, art for arts sake, we can record it, produce it, for once we can have full artistic control, for once we can raise the bar, and we have, World Secret, Theme for unknown soldiers and Hideaway girl are great tracks and still stand up today.

Blend them in with a series of new tracks, including Back to bed, Me, Signs and Jessica Brown, and we have an album we can be proud of.

White Russia exists no more. The band is now called World Secret the album is called World Secret and the title track is called World Secret.

The album is due for release in 2010
